Damon Lindelof asks Lost fans to trust in the writers. We're willing to do that (for now), but we agree the alt time line stuff is superstrange. Our best guess is that instead of resetting the clock to before Oceanic 815, Jack's plan actually changed the course of history at a much earlier point—perhaps beginning in 1977, when we last saw our heroes?

We asked Josh Holloway about Sawyer's state of mind following the events of the Lost finale, and he said: "I think he's pretty destroyed. All of that growth got ripped away. I think he's gonna be a bit salty again, which I'm looking forward to. All I know is that he's destroyed and has given up on life again and on having any positive lessons. So watch out!" (We love mature Sawyer, but bitchy Sawyer is damn fun too.)

There was some more big news from ComicCon yesterday (Saturday). It looks like a real fan favotite will be returning to LOST in Season 6. There are few details available, but at a panel for the CW series, Vampire Diaries, Ian Somerhalter was asked whether he would return for LOST's final season and this was his answer:

"We were actually talking about it today and... Boone will be coming back to Lost."

Lost Gives You More Than Expected

I've got great news for any and all Lost fans out there, the news from ABC came through Twitter that Lost will be extending it's final season to 18 hours! So you'll have more Lost than expected coming your way in 2010!

With this news in mind Kristen gives us her idea of how they'll spend that extra time:
I'm a big fan of Elizabeth Mitchell and can't wait for her to go back to Lost. Do you know when V's 13 episodes will finish shooting? Might Elizabeth be back only for the second half of Lost's final season? — Carry
CARRY: Mitchell's V-Lost conflict is not one of just time but space, seeing as V shoots in Vancouver, 6 1/2 hours from Hawaii. That said, V starts production in early August, while Lost doesn't start up again until the end of that month. And now that we know that Lost's final season has been extended to be 18 hours, and there's a slightly better chance that Juliet will spend some QT with her Romeo, Sawyer.

Sources confirm that Elizabeth Mitchell will appear on Lost next year. But does that mean Juliet's alive and a going concern on the show? Well I personally believe that Juliet along with the rest of the 77 crew caused the Incident but blowing up the nuke and the energy that was released time warped them, just like Marty and Doc Brown, back to the future! So I think she'll be alive in season six not just in flashbacks or through reanimation. So what's you're theory on Juliet, is she dead or alive? Either way it's good to hear she'll still be on the show.
