    Crazy Theory of the Week

It's plain, it's simple, here it is:
Horace and Amy's baby is Jacob.

Here's what little reasons I have for this theory:
    • Horace built Jacob's cabin
    • We know nothing about Jacob other than Christian Shephard speaks for him, the others take orders from him, not everyone can see him, and God loves you as he loved Jacob
I got nothing else but a gut feeling on this one.

    Barry Says:
Sorry brother but i'm goin with NO on this theory. not sure i can tell you why, but i'm goin with NO.

    Response:
Well Dr. No, whacha got? Because in the TV Guide interview with Reiko Aylesworth
    she says this:
TVGuide.com: Might Amy be giving birth to someone... "special"?
Aylesworth: I will say yes, it's a special person. And you eventually find out who — but not in that first episode.
So who do you think it is, if it's not Jacob? Who could've been born in 77? Jack? Sawyer?

    Barry Says:
i just have this sense that jacob has been around a LOT longer than that. don't we get the pretty certain intimation that he's bigger than life--almost spiritual? an humble birth to a coupla nondescript characters...well..i mighta just talked myself into your camp on this one. ;)

    Response:
    Glad to have you!

I didn't want to believe that it was Jacob at first either, somehow I thought that took some of the "magic" out of it for me, but after all that we have learned about the statue and what that might mean, I have to believe that if the baby IS Jacob then it will fit nicely into the grand scheme of things (just like it always does!) Only time will tell though.
